COVID-19: Nigeria records 1398 new cases, Lagos, FCT, Oyo takes lead


1398 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday 13 January, 2021.
NCDC made this on their social media page during their Daily COVID-19 report in the country.
A breakdown of the cases by States were posted by the NCDC showed that Lagos, FCT , Oyo, Rivers and Plateau had the highest number of positive cases for the day with 542, 131, 120, 113, 111 cases respectively.

As at the time of this report, 103,999 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed, 82,555 cases have been discharged and 1,382 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
