COVID-19: Nigeria records 838 new cases, 7 deaths, 385 discharged

838 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday December 27, 2020.

NCDC made this known on their social media platforms, they tweeted,

7 deaths were recorded for the day, discharges included 225 community recoveries in Lagos State and 160 community recoveries in Kaduna State managed in line with guidelines.

This is higher than the 829 cases recorded the previous day, cases in the FCT are higher today, 297 cases as 297 were recorded yesterday.

ALSO READ:

Lagos had slightly lower cases for the day in the country with 253 cases.

The total recorded cases in Nigeria is 84, 414 with 71, 034 discharged and 1254 dead.
