Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Spurs after the team’s dire run of form.
The North London outfit were top of the Premier League and flying in November but now find themselves seventh in the table and five points off the top four with five games remaining.
Spurs were also knocked out of the Europa League by Dinamo Zagreb in embarrassing fashion.
According to John Percy from The Telegraph, former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Mourinho has been relieved of his duties before Spurs contest the League Cup final against Manchester City at Wembley next Sunday.
Mourinho’s last game in charge of Spurs was a 2-2 draw with Everton on Friday night at Goodison Park.
Former Spurs midfielder Ryan Mason and Chris Powell are poised to take charge of the team for the rest of the season.
